Daily Encouragement for Kids – Pack a Daily Scripture

I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.  Psalm 119:11

This month’s Building Faith Families is a practical way to encourage your child and build their faith.  School is hard, sometimes the day are long and a little bit of light in the middle of the day can go a long way.  In addition, the more that you can incorporate the reading and studying of scripture during the normal routine of their life, the more it is hidden in their heart.  That is why I am excited to share with you a document created by Jill Larson with 90 encouraging bible verses designed to go in a lunch box or given to your child (or even your spouse) on a daily basis.  Simply print and cut it out and you have half a school year worth of encouraging messages that you can personalize based on what is going on that day on the back of the card.  Try it out.  One may become a mantra to be hung up in a lock, or might arrive at the moment that it is needed the most.  When the list runs out, simply print another set for the second semester, shuffle the cards, and start over.  Together you will be in the word with each other 5 days a week.  Download it HERE.
